Dona Catharina is a 60 foot ketch rigged steel cutter, build 1984 by Van der Meer in Holland, where she is still registered .
She is ideally suited for small group expeditions, film makers, adventures, or just for that special holiday trip with family or friends, as she features 4 cabins, 2 with 1x double beds, one cabin with 2x single bunks and one cabin with 4x bunk beds. so there is plenty of privacy. All bunk beds are equipped with lee sails to stop you falling out of your bunk when Dona Catharina is hard pressed by the wind . There are 2 bathrooms , both with hot and cold showers. She also features a large decks house, that is the ideal gathering place for common meals when the weather is miserable . The second helm station is also in the decks house, and all the navigation electronics and communication equipment are located around the helms chair and the chart table. But in the tropics we will spend a lot of time outside in Dona Catharina’s large cockpit, under the shade sail.
